Joan Rivers wins Donald Trump's 'Celebrity Apprentice'

Joan Rivers Comedian star was hired and poker champ Annie Duke fired on the final faceoff "Celebrity Apprentice" in the US. In the season of the finale the hit NBC reality show, the 70+year-old Brooklyn born Rivers showed heart, tears and "disgust" for Duke. In the finale, which was aired live in the US from New York's Museum of Natural History, Trump's daughter and advisor Ivanka called Duke "phenomenal" and described her "as cool as a cucumber". She also said she "admired" Rivers' tenacity and hailed as her as "a great role model". Joan Rivers wins the celebrity apprentice over poker player Annie Dukes.

Keanu Reeves to take on classic "Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde."

Keanu and the word classic don't go together very often but Keanu may be set to star in a re-telling fo the classic novella The Stange Case of "Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde." Hollywood Reporter says Keanu is attached to star in Universal's modern re-telling of the story as the lead character. The project is titled Jekyll and is being sripted by Justin Haythe, who wrote the highly acclaimed kate Winslet and Leonard DiCaprio film "Revolutionary Road". In This movie Reeves is the star in Universal's new take on the classic Robert Louis Stevenson novella, which is reportedly being adapted by screenwriter Justin Haythe, who last year penned the screen adaptation of the Richard Yates novel "Revolutionary Road."

"Just think, I am Dr. Dolly!" she said Friday after receiving an honorary doctorate of humane and musical letters from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. Dolly Parton, legendary entertainer and philanthropist, now has another accomplishment she can add to her list. Governor Phil Bredesen presented Dolly Parton with an honorary degree from the University of Tennessee on Friday morning. Parton was the first in her family to graduate from high school. She never went to college, but her new degree honors her dedication to education, children and life-long learning. Chancellor Jimmy G. Cheek introduces Dolly Parton and recommends her for the degree of Doctor of Humane and Musical Letters.
