Britney Spears Refuses To Take Sons To Russia After Receiving Death Threats

Britney Spears is not taking any chances when it comes to the safety of her children.


The 27-year-old pop star feared for the safety of her sons after allegedly receiving a series of menacing messages through email. She originally planned to bring Sean Preston and Jayden James for her "Circus" shows in St. Petersburg and Moscow, but ultimately decided to just leave them in London with her family.

Spears is said to be living in Finland, and will flyi to the country for two concerts, in St. Petersburg and Moscow.

After the July 21 concert in the Russian capital, Spears plans to fly to London via private jet to reunite with her sons, Sean Preston, 3, and Jayden James, 2.

"Originally, both boys were to accompany Britney, but she was against taking them because of these constant threats," a tour spokesman said.
