Britney Spears Announces New North American Circus Tour Dates

Britney Spears Circus tour is already the top-grossing jaunt of 2009, so you can't blame her for bringing the big top back for another round of dates.
Right off the heels of announcing her Australian tour dates, Britney Spears has announced that she will be coming her Circus back for another round of North American dates beginning August 20.

The surprise announcement was revealed this morning on BritneySpears.com. She enthused, "I'm so excited to bring The Circus back to North America. I've made some really cool changes to the show that I think my fans are really going to love. I also get to bring the show to some new cities we missed the first time around.

The new round of dates kicks off August 20 in Hamilton, Ontario, and makes stops in cities like New York (two nights at Madison Square Garden), Philadelphia, Boston, Miami and Des Moines, Iowa, before coming to a close on September 27 with a pair of shows at the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.

Tickets for the new dates go on sale beginning Friday, June 19. Fans can find tour and ticketing information through www.BritneySpears.com.

Teenage pop star Miley Cyrus has announced dates for her first ever UK tour, which will start in December. Teenage Disney Channel pop sensation Miley Cyrus has announced dates for her first tour of the U.K., which will begin with a two night stand at London's O2 Arena in December. After performing in London, Cyrus, the star of the Disney Channel's Hannah Montana series, will play six more dates in Manchester, Birmingham and Dublin. Best known for starring in the US show Hannah Montana, Cyrus will be supported by older brother's band Metro Station.
