As if their ever-growing brood wasn't already a clear sign, Brangelina loves kids. So it's no surprise that the power couple spares no expense when it comes to children's charitable causes. St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, Missouri will be expanding their children’s care center at the expense of a super-powered couple that goes by the name of Brangelina. The hospital will be using the charitable trust as an endowment fund to pay children’s care specialists and help build a new pediatric unit. We are happy to confirm that Maggie and Peter were married on Saturday, their reps told the repoters. It seems Italy is the hot spot for celebrity weddings this spring- last month Salma Hayek got married in Venice and this past weekend Maggie Gyllenhaal andPeter Sarsgaard tied the knot in Brindisi. No other details of the celebrity couple's wedding have been made public though. According to previous reports, both of them tied the knot at a small chapel at luxury hotel Masseria in Brindisi, which is in the Puglia region of Italy.

Paula Abdul Leaving American Idol?

Over the weekend, Paula Abdul's manager announced that the the judge was unsure whether she would return to "American Idol" and referred to the ongoing contract negotiations "hurtful. The Fox reality competition Abdul has helped judge since its 2002 inception may be cutting her from its payroll. According to Abdul's manager, David Sonenberg, "Idol" hasn't offered her a formal contract proposal for season nine contract, whose auditions are already underway. "Very sadly, it does not appear that she's going to be back on Idol," Sonenberg told the Los Angeles Times last week. "I find it under these circumstances particularly unusual; I think unnecessarily hurtful," he added. "I find it kind of unconscionable and certainly rude and disrespectful that they haven't stepped up and said what they want to do."
